Executive Director, 8 String Media – 2015-Present

Founded 8 String Media in January of 2015.  Documentaries include: Redirection; Director - Season 1 and Season 2 of TVO’s Climate Watch Shorts (various episodes); Director - CBC The Doc Project (Various episodes). Music Documentaries include: Director - 45 on 33 Season 1 (currently in production). Corporate clients include:  City of Toronto, York University, Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, Titan Trailers, CUPE, Associated Press and Enterprise Toronto. 

Media Specialist & Emergency Programs Officer, GlobalMedic – 2012-2015

Produced video content for Toronto based NGO GlobalMedic. Shot and edited video documenting GlobalMedic deployments around the world including the Philippines, Japan, Pakistan, India and Bosnia.  Coordinated emergency disaster response missions to aid victims of typhoons, floods and earthquakes.  Additional responsibility included media appearances (CP24, Global News, Weather Network, TIME Magazine, Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, Globe and Mail).

Producer, CBC Radio – 2011-2012

National radio producer for CBC Radio One programming including As it Happens, Tapestry, and Spark. Oversaw associate production of summer series Metamorphosis

Reporter, CBC Winnipeg – 2011

Reporter for CBC Winnipeg television and radio. Coverage includes 2011 flooding, relaunching of the Winnipeg Jets, and agricultural industry.

Producer, CBC Television News – 2008-2011

Worked with the newsroom team on daily affairs, pitching stories, chasing guests, writing, organizing logistics for guest interviews on set and remote, vetting interviews and assigning stories to associate producers.  Produced the Saturday Business Panel.  Worked as producer for the Lang and O’Leary Exchange, News Now’s Breaking News Desk, and News Now’s Content Unit. Special event coverage includes: G20 Summit in Toronto (June 26-27, 2010), CFB Trenton Repatriation Ceremony (January 3, 2010), Olympic torch arrival in Ottawa (December 12, 2009), and various provincial and municipal elections.
